Harry Potter Inspired Proposal in Lahaina, Maui

Coming in from New York, Antonio had a very specific theme in mind for his proposal to Daniela.  Antonio was excited to have a Harry Potter inspired proposal in Lahaina, Maui. Before the proposal, Antonio sent a Golden Snitch to us (HOW FUN IS THAT?!) Inside the Golden Snitch, he had rolled up a piece of paper from the sixth Harry Potter book.  He had torn out the first page of the chapter called “The Unbreakable Vow” and had that rolled up inside of the Snitch. Isn’t that just the sweetest?

THE PLAN:

We planted the Snitch  in the place where he was going to propose.  He had the ring with him.  The plan was that Daniela would find and open the Golden Snitch when she happened upon it.  

THE PROPOSAL:

When Daniela opened the Golden Snitch and unrolled the book page with “The Unbreakable Vow” on it, Antonio dropped down to one knee and popped the question!  She was so excited! Of course she said a great big YES!  She just loved that Antonio made it such a memorable proposal by adding such a creative personal touch!

THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION:

We stayed at the cliff-side where they got engaged for the first part of our session.  The ocean views from that location are intense! The second stop of their photo session was to a beach just down the way.  They played together a bit in the sand and we got to capture their chemistry–and they have some serious chemistry together!  We had a spectacular sunset that evening that our associate Amber captured beautifully!
