Chartered Helicopter Proposal on Maui
Bradley and Tatiana are both air traffic controllers from Canada, so a chartered helicopter proposal on Maui was the ideal way for these two to get engaged! While they were planning their trip to Maui, Bradley got in touch with me to plan out the helicopter tour with Engaged at Maui and Air Maui for our helicopter proposal option.
The Plan:
Bradley knew that Tatiana was expecting a proposal on this trip, but she didn’t know when it was going to happen. Engaged on Maui took care of all the planning of the helicopter tour, so all Bradley had to do was choose the option for the helicopter tour. He chose the West Maui / Molokai tour. They had an absolutely gorgeous day! The Molokai sea cliffs were breathtaking. The plan was once they landed, Bradley would go towards a beautiful spot and pop the question!
The Proposal:
When they landed on the property, our associate photographer Amber was able to do some ninja shots of the couple without Tatiana realizing what was going on. When the moment was right, Bradley dropped down to one knee and asked Tatiana to marry him. He chose an incredible spot with the cliffs of Kahakuloa in the background. Amber was there snapping away to capture the whole moment. Bradley was down on his knee for a full minute, so we were able to get a bunch of great shots of him proposing! In that moment, Tatiana finally realized that Bradley had chartered the helicopter just for them! She was so surprised!
The Engagement Session:
Once the proposal happened and she realized why Amber was there, we started the engagement session. First, we got a couple ring shots. It’s gorgeous, by the way. Then we took a handful of breathtaking sweetheart shots with the cliffs behind them. Of course, we had to take some shots with the helicopter and with the pilot to commemorate their chartered helicopter proposal on Maui! Upon their return to Air Maui, they were greeted with leis and champagne! What a special way to end their engagement session!
