Romantic Maui Beach Proposal
“Unexpected. Unusual. Unreal. Perfect,” were the words Emmanuel used to describe the love of his life Lennea. “Easy. Plain and simple,” was how he described the perfect proposal he had in mind. From those brief words, I knew that a romantic Maui beach proposal was going to be just right for this couple.
THE PLAN:
We chose a new spot that we have never had a proposal at before for Emmanuel to propose. It was beautiful with its bright blue water and a mostly empty white sand beach.
THE PROPOSAL:
Our associate photographer Amber spotted them from her hiding spot and photographed them from the moment they entered the beach. As these two were walking down the beach, they were so playful together. When Emmanuel felt the moment was right, he dropped to his knee and asked Lennea to be his wife. Lennea’s reaction to this proposal was AWESOME! She has this incredible smile, and she was just radiating joy during the proposal!
THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION:
Also, Emmanuel’s family was there to meet them right after their proposal, and we were able to get a few shots with the kids. This couple had great chemistry together, and he was constantly making her laugh. Even though they chose the perfect proposal package, they chose to stay at this one location for their photos because it offered so much diversity. It is always so fun to photograph new places and explore the secret nooks and crannies of the location. We got incredible beach views and some awesome shots facing up towards the mountains.
