South Maui Private Beach Proposal
Chris wanted to have the perfect proposal for Bailey. They flew to Maui for their third anniversary. He knew his proposal had to happen this day! When he contacted me, we chatted about what the big moment would look like. We started planning this spectacular South Maui private beach proposal for this beautiful couple. And it was exactly what he hoped for!
THE PLAN:
South Maui has some of the best places to do a private beach proposal. Just after Chris contacted us, we found this darling little pocket beach that we knew would be perfect for them. The sand comes and goes at this location, so it’s always a bit of a crap shoot to see how much sand we are going to have that day. Engaged on Maui did a final check of the beach before the proposal to ensure there was enough of a beach to have a beautiful proposal. Thankfully, the beach was glorious, and we finalized the plan.
THE PROPOSAL:
Chris led Bailey down the private South Maui beach. When he felt like it was the right moment, he dropped to one knee and proposed. Bailey quickly, said, “YES!” and he slipped the ring on her finger.
THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION:
As the session went on, there were these intense looking storm clouds in the sky that afternoon. However, we didn’t mind that one bit because it added elegance and drama to the images. The light reflected off the clouds in a really special way. The pictures that we got at Black Sand Beach were some of my favorite we’ve ever gotten in that location. The light was unbeatable that night.
