West Maui Mountain Proposal

The week they got engaged was a big week for Roshan and Blessy! Even more than the pressure of getting engaged, they had both of their families flying in to spend some time getting to know each other better. And unbeknownst to them, Roshan was going to pop the question!  We were happy to take a little of the pressure off and set up a gorgeous West Maui Mountain proposal for them.

THE PLAN:

When Roshan contacted Engaged on Maui, he knew that he wanted to either propose at Maui Tropical Plantation or on some gorgeous cliffs.  We did one better and combined both locations for him!  He planned on bringing Blessy to the Maui Tropical Plantation and from there we headed to an engagement shoot at a cliff-side location.

THE PROPOSAL:

As they walked hand in hand through the plantation, Roshan gently led Blessy to a wide-open space.  The West Maui Mountains glowed behind them and the unique palm trees swayed in the breeze.  When he was ready, Roshan dropped to one knee and asked Blessy marry him.  She of course said, “YES!” And soon after the “Yes”-moment, he pointed us out!

THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION:

We had a lot of fun on the property where we got some great photos of them.  And after we were done, we went to this awesome cliff-side location that we LOVE!  Luckily, it’s only a ten-minute drive from the plantation.  While we were at the cliff-side location, we got some awesome diversity within the photos. We got the greenery from the plantation and we got the earthy, dry, ruggedness that comes with the cliffs.  And the bright blue water peeking through behind Roshan and Blessy just made the images perfect!

Roshan and Blessy: Congratulations once again on your breathtaking West Maui Mountain proposal!  Mahalo for choosing Engaged on Maui to capture your special day!
